day 2 and a bit of a chillier day tho overall the weather was pretty good again. After a full Irish breakfast including the traditional delicacy, white and black pudding, we headed into Dublin to pick up our local guide for the day, Michael. He took us on a very informative tour around all the major sites of Dublin ending up at Trinity College with a visit to the Book of Kells (1200 year old beautifully illustrated manuscript). We bought lunch to eat on the coach as our afternoon was spent an hour south of Dublin at the beautiful Powerscourt estate. Michael filled us in on its history and then left us to explore the absolutely stunning gardens at our leisure. After a lovely tea and cake and a wander round the woollen shop, it was back onto the coach and into Dublin for dinner in Temple Bar at the Merchants Arch
