Day 1
We met our friends from Wisconsin at the airport in Cancun . Ready to practice their spanish skills and encouraged by the Spanish teacher and tour leader Mrs. Maria Allesee and the counselor Mrs. Marissa Andersen.
We were all hungry so we went to the "hotels zone" in Cancun where most of the restaurants are located.We saw the beautiful turquois water and white sand of the beaches, we stopped in a look out point for a group picture and the view was amazing.
Our Tour director Jorge and driver Sergio took us to Playa gaviotas and showed us some options to have lunch, but we all decided to have real mexican tacos. We tried chicken, pork, mushrooms, potatoes tacos and more. After having lunch we had free time to walk around and do some shopping.
After traveling since very early in the morning and aeating mexican lunch we were tired. so we made our way to the hotel "La Quinta". Nice place in downtown Cancun. They have a nice pool and restaurante.
