Day 14: July 9, 2023
It's been a wonderful final full day of the tour! We have a nice breakfast at the hotel and are then picked up by a bus and taken into central London, where we meet Leila, an official guide who takes us on a sightseeing tour of the capital. The tour starts by seeing the Natural History Museum, before heading to see the famous Buckingham Palace.
We then head to Parliament Square to see Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster, before passing St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The tour ends on the South Bank where we begin an afternoon of free time. Some head to Borough Market, others to Hyde Park, Abbey Road, the Tate Modern, the Tower of London, and some take a flight on the London Eye.
We are then reunited for dinner and afterwards most of the group go on one of two walking tours. Some join Sean for a Jack the Ripper tour, around the East End of London, while others are led by Simon on a Harry Potter tour, seeing sites from the books and films. We then all come together back at the hotel to reflect on the tour ahead of the group's departure tomorrow.
