Welcome to Mexico friends from Ohio and Nevada.
We all arrived very well in Cancun, Mexico. It is time to travel to our hotel in the town of Valladolid in Yucatán, Mexico, 2 hours from Cancún.
Upon arriving in Valladolid we stayed in a nice hotel called "Fundadores" very close to the town's main plate.
After resting for a bit, it was time for the welcome dinner. Dinner was "Cochinita", a typical dish of the region prepared with pork marinated with sour orange and spices, wrapped in banana leaves and slowly cooked underground, then served with onion and handmade tortillas.
