Day 7: March 13, 2025
Today was a incredible day exploring the sights of Rome. We started off the morning by heading to the Vatican Museums to start the guided tour which took us to the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. After a chance to buy some religious items and souvenirs and some time for lunch we started our walking tour at the Spanish steps, followed by the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and finishing up in Piazza Navona. At each place on the walking tour we had time to take photos, have a gelato, buy some souvenirs and look around and we also completed a scavenger hunt to discover the history behind some of these monuments.
Then we headed to our restaurant for dinner and back to the hotel where we said goodbye to our group from Alabama who are leaving tomorrow morning.
