Hello from JAPAN!!! My dearest guests, I’m Sachiko Aizawa, your TD in Japan. Please call me ‘Happy’ . My name Sachiko means ‘’happy child’’ in Japanese. I will do my best to make your trip a very happy one. I live in Yokohama city with my family. I have been working as a licensed English-speaking tour guide for ten years. I have guided many overseas tourists to places all over Japan. I can't wait to see you and start to explore Japan, a country with both modern and traditional aspects. First, we will go around Tokyo, an organized chaotic city, and then Hakone, a volcanic mountain area, 80 km away from Tokyo. We will explore central Japan as well, like Matsumoto Castle, Takayama city, which is called ‘Little Kyoto’, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawago village. Then we will go sightseeing in the historical cities of Kyoto and Nara.
It’s very hot and humid with the temperature from 70 to 98 °F. Don't forget to bring a folding umbrella! I'll see you in japan. Have a happy flight♥ Happy
Day 1 in Japan:The Explorica members arrived in Japan. They looked tired after a long flight but excited to talk about sightseeing from now on. We went to an Izakaya-Japanese style pub for dinner. Their first food in Japan was barbecued chicken called Yakitori, deep fried chicken, salad,grilled pork and vegetables and white rice. They enjoyed the meal very much and everyone was saying, "Oishi! Oishi! (delicious) after the meal. Now all of us are in our hotel rooms and ready to have a good sleep for the adventure tomorrow to Tokyo. Oyasuminasai(good night)
