April 15, 2016  -  April 23, 2016

Greetings to students, parents, chaperones, teachers, administrators and all interested parties to the wonderful tour that 66 lucky students start on April 15. I am Len Holmes, who together with my co-tour director, Carol Adams, will be sharing as much interesting information inter-spaced with levity and fun activities as possible. So that the group can find me at the airport tomorrow, here are two photos, one sort of formal, and the other taken from a spot that you will see on Wednesday next week. Safe travels, see you tomorrow. Len And tomorrow came and the group show no signs of jet lag or travel fatigue as they arrived in Las Angeles. Some time at the Santa Monica Beach and Pier, including some Pacific Ocean swimming made for a suitable refresher after a long travel day. A drive by way of Beverly Hills, and passing Rodeo Drive took us to the Original Farmer's Market and the food booths offering a wide varities of dining choices. No one went away hungry We then went up Hollywood Mountain to Griffith Park and the Griffith Observatory which gave us a spectacular view of Los Angeles and and all the bright lights of Hollywood below us. Driving to the hotel allowed many to get an early start to a well needed nights sleep. Tomorrow it's off to Hollywood and Universal Studios. Stay tuned....
