Need a passport? Head to a passport fair

Have you signed up for a tour, but don’t have a passport? Don’t miss out on this excellent resource: The U.S. Department of State is holding special Passport Acceptance Fairs across the country to help you get your passport before the spring/summer travel season.

If you are under 18 or a first-time passport applicant, a passport fair is an excellent opportunity for you to apply for a passport and get quick and easy service without an appointment. Even if your tour date is months away, we recommend that you get started with the passport process as early as possible to avoid any snags. Check out this chart to find a fair in your state, and note that more are being added daily.

If you already have a passport, remember that some countries require it to have six months of validity after your trip. Search by country to see if your destination has this requirement, and learn more about how to renew your passport. Also note that passports that are damaged, torn, or have water stains cannot be used and must be replaced.
