Explorica’s Financial Assistance Program: Our commitment to affordability
At Explorica, we believe all students should have the opportunity to experience the world. In addition to offering the guaranteed best prices, fundraising support and student scholarships, we are proud to add another option to make our educational tours accessible to more students. As a WorldStrides organization, we contribute over $2M annually towards our financial assistance program.
How it works
- Register for a tour: The financial assistance candidate must be registered on a future Explorica tour outside of the US and Canada.
- Complete the application: Families that meet the specific annual adjusted gross income requirements are invited to complete a confidential, easy application and may qualify to receive travel assistance funds. All application materials must be requested from and submitted to the Explorica Customer Care team.
- Bon voyage: The financial assistance application process is completely confidential. Once all documents are submitted and approved, the financial assistance funds will be automatically applied to the traveler’s account.
Applicant requirements
- Current elementary, middle, or high school student
- In good academic standing
- Demonstrates independence and responsibility
- Explorica account is in good standing
- Has financial need
