Hotel Quality
Standard Quality hotels are tourist class accommodations typically located near public transportation. All hotels offer clean, safe and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Beds may be single or double, depending on the hotel, and double beds may be shared.
Upgraded Quality hotels, if selected, are centrally located and within walking distance of tourist attractions and public transportation. They typically offer more amenities, desk service and are considered 3-4 star hotels, according to European standards. All rooms have private bathrooms and either single or double beds, depending on the hotel. Single beds sleep just one person and double beds may be shared.
Student Rooming
While on tour, students will be sharing rooms with 2 or 3 roommates of the same gender. For teacher-led tours, the Group Leaders will assign these roommates. Hotel rooms are furnished with either single or double beds; single beds sleep just one person and double beds may be shared.
Overnight Train Accommodation
During overnight train travel, students will sleep in couchettes with 4 to 6 berths (beds) and have access to a shared restroom in each car. Please note that couchettes on overnight trains are considered public transportation, and rooming is not guaranteed to be private or gender exclusive.
