Got a bit of extra room in your suitcase or carry on? Pack some bubble wrap. That way if you buy ceramics or wine you can wrap it up safely for the trek home. A tradition I began when I first started traveling was to buy a ceramic breakfast bowl from each country that I visit. So far, I have Spain, Italy, and the Czech Republic. And since I’ve been wrapping them in bubble wrap for the return journey, not a one has been scratched.
